Amaretto Cake
Amaretto Cake is a rich, almond-flavored cake made with Amaretto liqueur, perfect for desserts.

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
Step 2
In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Step 3
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Step 4
Mix in vanilla extract and Amaretto liqueur.
Step 5
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Add to the wet mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
Step 6
Pour batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
Step 7
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
