Chana Masala
Chana Masala is a popular Indian dish made with chickpeas simmered in a spicy tomato-based sauce, flavored with various spices.
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and ginger, and cook until softened.
Step 2
Stir in diced tomatoes, chana masala spice mix, cumin, turmeric, paprika, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add chickpeas and simmer for 15-20 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
Step 4
Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
