Chicken Marsala is an Italian-American dish where chicken is sautéed and served in a rich Marsala wine sauce with mushrooms.
Season chicken breasts with salt and black pepper, then dredge in flour.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until browned on both sides and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add mushrooms and cook until softened.
Pour in Marsala wine and chicken broth, and bring to a simmer.
Stir in heavy cream and cook until sauce has thickened.
Return chicken to the skillet and coat with sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
