Chicken Parmesan
Chicken Parmesan is a classic Italian-American dish featuring breaded and fried chicken breasts topped with marinara sauce and melted cheese.
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Step 2
Season chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Dredge in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and coat with bread crumbs.
Step 3
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry chicken until golden brown on both sides.
Step 4
Place fried chicken in a baking dish. Top each piece with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.
Step 5
Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
Step 6
Bake for 20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
