Churros
Churros are crispy, fried pastries coated in cinnamon sugar, often enjoyed with a side of chocolate sauce or caramel for dipping.
Preparation
Step 1
In a saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in flour until smooth.
Step 2
Let dough cool slightly, then beat in eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
Step 3
Transfer dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
Step 4
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Pipe dough into hot oil, cutting into 4-inch strips.
Step 5
Fry churros until golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
Step 6
Roll in cinnamon sugar and serve warm.
