Crab Rangoon
Crab Rangoon are crispy, fried wontons filled with a creamy mixture of crab meat, cream cheese, and seasonings. They’re a popular appetizer at Chinese-American restaurants.
Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl, mix together cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce.
Step 2
Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten edges with water and fold to seal.
Step 3
Heat oil in a skillet or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C). Fry wontons until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
Step 4
Drain on paper towels and serve with sweet and sour sauce or soy sauce.
