Crispy Duck
Crispy Duck is a savory dish with perfectly crisp skin and tender meat. It’s often served with a flavorful sauce and vegetables.
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Pat duck dry with paper towels.
Step 2
Rub duck inside and out with salt, black pepper, and Chinese five-spice powder.
Step 3
Place duck on a rack in a roasting pan. Roast for 1.5-2 hours, until skin is crispy and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Step 4
In the last 15 minutes of roasting, brush duck with a mixture of soy sauce and honey.
Step 5
Let rest for 10 minutes before carving and serving.
