Empanadas de Carne
Empanadas de Carne are savory pastries filled with seasoned ground beef, onions, and spices, then baked or fried until crispy and golden.
Preparation
Step 1
In a skillet, cook ground beef with onion and garlic until browned. Stir in olives, raisins, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cool mixture.
Step 2
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out empanada dough and cut into circles.
Step 3
Place a spoonful of beef mixture in the center of each dough circle. Fold over and seal edges with a fork.
Step 4
Brush with beaten egg and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
