Fettuccine Alfredo is a creamy Italian pasta dish made with fettuccine noodles tossed in a rich sauce of butter, cream, and Parmesan cheese.
Preparation
Step 1
Cook fettuccine pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Step 2
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
Step 3
Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Step 4
Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Toss cooked fettuccine in the sauce until well coated. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
