Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Garlic Mashed Potatoes are a creamy and flavorful side dish made with roasted garlic and butter. They are a perfect complement to any main course.
Preparation
Step 1
Boil potatoes in a large pot of salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
Step 2
Meanwhile, melt butter in a small pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Step 3
Drain potatoes and return them to the pot. Mash potatoes with a potato masher or fork.
Step 4
Stir in garlic butter mixture and milk. Continue to mash until smooth and creamy.
Step 5
Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with chopped chives if desired.
