Katsu Curry is a Japanese dish featuring breaded and fried pork cutlets served with a rich and savory curry sauce over rice.
Preparation
Step 1
Bread pork cutlets by coating in flour, dipping in beaten eggs, and then coating with panko breadcrumbs.
Step 2
Heat oil in a skillet and fry cutlets until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
Step 3
In another pot, sauté onion and carrots until softened. Add broth, curry powder, and soy sauce, and simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Slice the pork cutlets and serve over rice with curry sauce.
