Key Lime Bars
Key Lime Bars are a tangy and sweet dessert with a buttery crust and a creamy key lime filling, topped with whipped cream.
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a baking dish.
Step 2
Bake crust for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.
Step 3
For the filling, whisk together condensed milk, key lime juice, and egg yolks. Pour over the cooled crust.
Step 4
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until set. Let cool completely.
Step 5
For the topping, beat heavy cream and sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread over the cooled bars.
