Preparation
Step 1
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then coat in flour.
Step 2
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
Step 3
In the same skillet, add garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in chicken broth, lemon juice, lemon zest, and thyme. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Return chicken to skillet and coat with sauce. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, or until chicken is heated through and sauce has thickened.
