Oysters Rockefeller
Oysters Rockefeller are a classic American appetizer featuring oysters topped with a rich mixture of butter, herbs, and breadcrumbs, then baked.
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Step 2
In a skillet, melt butter and cook onions and garlic until softened. Stir in spinach and cook for 1 minute.
Step 3
In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix with spinach mixture.
Step 4
Place oysters on a baking sheet and top each with a spoonful of the breadcrumb mixture.
Step 5
Bake for 10-12 minutes, until topping is golden and oysters are cooked through.
Step 6
Serve with lemon wedges.
