Pho
Pho is a Vietnamese noodle soup known for its aromatic broth, fresh herbs, and rice noodles.
Preparation
Step 1
In a large pot, combine beef broth, onion, ginger, star anise, and cinnamon stick. Simmer for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Strain the broth and return to pot. Add sliced beef and cook until tender.
Step 3
Cook rice noodles according to package instructions. Divide among bowls.
Step 4
Ladle hot broth and beef over the noodles. Garnish with fresh basil, bean sprouts, lime wedges, and sliced jalapeños.
