Preparation
Step 1
Fill a saucepan with water and bring to a gentle simmer. Add vinegar.
Step 2
Crack an egg into a small bowl. Carefully slide the egg into the simmering water.
Step 3
Cook for 3-4 minutes, until the white is set but the yolk remains runny.
Step 4
Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Season with salt before serving.
