Pork Carnitas
Pork Carnitas are tender, flavorful pulled pork typically served in tacos or burritos.
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
Step 2
Season pork shoulder with cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper. Place in a roasting pan with garlic, onion, orange juice, lime juice, and bay leaves.
Step 3
Cover and roast for 3-4 hours, until the pork is tender and easily shreds.
Step 4
Shred pork with two forks and return to the pan to soak up the juices before serving.
