Pot Pie
Pot Pie is a savory pie filled with a creamy mixture of meat and vegetables, topped with a flaky crust.
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Step 2
In a skillet, melt butter and sauté onions until soft. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
Step 3
Gradually whisk in chicken broth and milk. Cook until thickened.
Step 4
Add cooked chicken, carrots, peas, and potatoes. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Transfer filling to a pie dish and cover with pie crust. Seal edges and cut slits in the top.
Step 6
Bake for 30-35 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
