Pretzel Bites
Pretzel Bites are soft, chewy, and lightly salted bites of pretzel dough, perfect for snacking.
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
Step 2
In a bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water and let sit for 5 minutes. Stir in flour to form a dough.
Step 3
Knead dough for 5 minutes until smooth. Let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
Step 4
Roll dough into a long rope and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Step 5
Boil pretzel bites in water mixed with baking soda for 30 seconds. Drain and place on a baking sheet.
Step 6
Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
