Shepherd's Pie is a comforting dish made with ground meat and vegetables topped with creamy mashed potatoes.
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Step 2
In a skillet, cook ground meat until browned. Remove excess fat.
Step 3
Add onion, carrots, and cook until softened.
Step 4
Stir in peas, tomato paste, flour, and broth. Simmer until thickened.
Step 5
Transfer meat mixture to a baking dish and spread mashed potatoes over the top.
Step 6
Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
