Stuffed Bell Peppers
Stuffed Bell Peppers are bell peppers filled with a savory mixture of ground meat, rice, and vegetables, then baked.
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Step 2
Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove seeds and membranes.
Step 3
In a skillet, cook ground meat with onion until browned. Stir in rice, tomato sauce, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Step 4
Stuff peppers with meat mixture and place in a baking dish.
Step 5
Top with shredded cheese and bake for 25-30 minutes, until peppers are tender.
