Vietnamese Pho
Vietnamese Pho is a fragrant noodle soup made with beef or chicken, fresh herbs, and rice noodles in a savory broth.

Preparation
Step 1
In a large pot, bring broth to a boil. Add onion, garlic, ginger, cinnamon stick, and star anise.
Step 2
Simmer for 20 minutes to infuse flavors. Strain the broth and return to the pot.
Step 3
Add thinly sliced meat to the broth and cook until just done.
Step 4
Prepare rice noodles according to package instructions and divide among bowls.
Step 5
Ladle hot broth and meat over noodles. Top with bean sprouts, basil, lime wedges, and jalapeños.
