1845 TAP HOUSE – Restaurant

First and foremost a beer bar. 1845 Tap House in Davenport is locally owned by Scott and Kristin, who between them have thirty-five years in the service industry, and the pitch is Florida: one of the deeper craft selections around, poured until two in the morning six nights a week. The food menu is deliberately small and built for drinking: chips and salsa, queso blanco with soft pretzels, a dip duo, buffalo chicken and garden spinach dips, roasted red pepper hummus, a chicken salad sandwich, the 1845 Club, a BLT, grilled cheese. Come for the taps. Nobody ever rushes anyone.
