441 PIZZA STATION – Restaurant

A brick oven inside a truck stop on US-441, firing from six in the morning on weekdays. 441 Pizza Station has made its dough from scratch in Lake City since 2018 and sells it by the single slice from two-fifty, the ten-inch personal, the sixteen-inch Trucker or the eighteen-inch Family pie. The Meat Lovers, sausage and pepperoni under crumbled bacon, is the one that moves; the Supreme carries the vegetables. Traditional wings come tossed in the usual sauces, and there are cheesesteaks too. Diners consistently praise the crisp crust and the generous toppings. An unlikely address, and genuinely good pizza.
