Ten floors above 505 South Gulfview, the Edge Hotel's restaurant now trades as Jimmy's on the Edge, and the room is the pitch: an open rooftop with the Gulf on one side, the Intracoastal on the other, and a thirty-foot screen for football under the stars. The kitchen works beach-bar territory with intent, smoked fish spread, grouper fingers and sliders, pulled pork and grouper tacos, rice bowls, burgers, short rib shorties and key lime pie. Live music or a DJ runs Thursday through Sunday, and everyone gets a free shot at five o’clock. Doors open daily from eleven until one.
