ACAI BY THE SEA – Restaurant

East Treasure Drive, North Bay Village, and the counter stays open past eleven most nights, long enough to catch the post-beach crowd and the after-dinner one. Bowls are named for the islands of Cape Verde and built to match: the Praia stacks açaí with strawberry, banana, blueberry, kiwi, nuts, coconut and praline pecan, while the Sal arrives inside a hollowed pineapple. Smoothies, espresso, cappuccino, honeyed lemon tea and banana pudding round it out. The recurring note from customers is scale. These are large, fruit-heavy bowls, priced accordingly, and nobody walks out hungry. Generous by default, and entirely unapologetic about it.
