Honduran home cooking in Miami, opening early enough that breakfast and lunch quietly merge into one another. Baleadas are the backbone: flour tortillas folded over refried beans, cheese and crema, plain or built out with egg or steak. Around them sit pupusas de queso con chicharron, macheteadas, fried plantains stuffed with beans and cream or seasoned ground beef, corn pastelitos, crisp beef enchiladas, and tortillas blanketed in melted quesillo. Larger plates run to whole red snapper cooked your way, shrimp to order, soups, and a coastal grill platter sized for four. Fresh juices, cafe con leche. Cheap, generous, entirely unpretentious.
