Handcrafted pizza and pasta in a warm, informal Italian room on Biscayne Boulevard, aimed squarely at repeat visits rather than special occasions. The dough is made in house and fired thin and crisp; the kitchen also sends out gnocchi in white sauce, meat-sauced pastas, mozzarella sticks and salads built for the table. What sets the week apart here is the entertainment, a Sunday jazz jam and regular karaoke nights that keep the room lively well after the plates have been cleared. Big groups fit in easily. It is unpretentious, generous and noisy in a way that suits the food perfectly.
