AREPITA BEACH – Mexican
A Venezuelan kitchen on North Beach Street in Daytona Beach, west of the Halifax River near Riverfront Park, trading since 2019 and with upstairs seating that looks out over the water. Arepas are the spine of the menu and they are gluten-free by nature, made from corn with no added sugar. The house arepa carries the restaurant's name; beside it sit arepa pabellon, cachapa con queso de mano, patacon, pepitos, tumbarancho, empanadas, tostones and tequenos. Vegetarian options are marked. Diners keep coming back for the drinks and the view from the upstairs seating as much as for the plates themselves.
