Across the street from the Miami-Dade County Courthouse, behind an unremarkable downtown storefront, sits a family-run Irish pub that commits fully to the part. Witty sayings on the walls, soccer from around the world on the screens, and a kitchen you can smell from the door. Shepherd's pie and curry fries come out of that kitchen. The bar keeps a deep shelf of Irish whiskey, and the staff are trained to pour Guinness properly rather than quickly. Weekends open at half seven in the morning and run through until four. Downtown Miami's least pretentious room, and one of its latest.
