AZABU MIAMI BEACH – Restaurant
Inside the Marriott Stanton South Beach, near Second Street and Ocean Drive, Azabu takes its name from a Tokyo merchant district and its discipline from traditional Japanese kitchens. The main room turns out nigiri, sashimi, robata-grilled plates and small dishes, backed by a long sake and Japanese whisky list and cocktails at Bar Azabu. Tucked behind it sits The Den, a Michelin-recognised eighteen-seat omakase counter led by chefs Anthony Esquivel and Yoshitaka Ito, serving Edomae-style courses built on fish flown in from Japan. Two seatings a night, no more. Private sushi-making classes, large groups and full buyouts can be arranged.
