Bagel Boss (JCC) – Restaurant

Tucked inside the David Posnack JCC on South Pine Island Road, this Bagel Boss Express is a full kosher bagel counter rather than a vending nook. Certification is Cholov Yisroel under the Orthodox Rabbinical Board. Bagels and flagels come hand-rolled and kettle-boiled to the Rosner family recipe, dressed with schmears, built into sandwiches, mini bagel sandwiches and smoked fish sandwiches, and backed by a bakery case plus Starbucks coffee, teas and refreshers. Boxed lunches, a wrap with chips and a cookie, travel well. Open from morning into the afternoon, closed Saturdays. Non-members should expect to check in at the desk.
