Tucked into a Boca Del Mar plaza on Southwest 18th Street, Bagel City South is a Jewish deli that bakes its own and cooks its own. The soups carry Smitty's name and get ladled all morning: chicken noodle and matzoh ball. Appetizing runs to baked salmon and whitefish, and the kitchen turns out chef's homemade knishes, cheese blintzes and potato pancakes with sour cream. Salads land as full meals, from Mandarin chicken to It's Greek To Me, each served with a bagel. Kids get the Ziggy hamburger or a Mickey Mouse pancake. Breakfast through early afternoon, dine in or out.
