A Union Turnpike counter in Fresh Meadows working a kosher-dairy repertoire that stretches well past bagels. The bagels themselves run plain through pumpernickel, multigrain, bialys and a flat bagel, with challah rolls year-round and challah on Fridays and holidays. Spreads go from plain and scallion to sun-dried tomato, garlic and herb, walnut raisin, and tofu versions. Omelets include a lox one and a shakshuka. The appetizing case carries sable, nova, whitefish and baked salmon salad, while the salad bar adds Israeli, Greek and grilled vegetable. Blintzes, knishes and rogalach fill the bakery side. Closed on Saturdays, as you would expect.
