BAMBOO SUSHI BAR HIBACHI EXPRESS NICEVILLE – Restaurant

Bamboo Sushi Bar and Hibachi Express opened in 2015 on West John Sims Parkway, taking over the Niceville building that had housed Hog Heaven barbecue and, before that, the town's first McDonald's. The name promises speed and the kitchen keeps to it. Entrees arrive with fried or steamed rice and hibachi vegetables; panko-fried chicken and shrimp meals do the same. Beyond them sit sushi rolls, special rolls, nigiri, sashimi, yaki soba noodles, ramen and udon, poke bowls and a Japanese curry of carrots, potatoes and onions. Salads sit on a spring-mix base. One of three branches along Florida's Emerald Coast.
