BAMBOO WOK – Restaurant

Tucked into the Avalon Park shopping strip on Orlando's east side, this family-run Chinese kitchen has built its name on turnaround: most orders are bagged within ten or fifteen minutes of ordering. The board covers the American-Chinese canon properly, with chow mein, lo mein, fried rice and egg foo young alongside separate pork, beef, chicken, seafood and vegetable sections, plus hot and sour soup and chicken with cashew nuts. Regulars talk about consistency above all else: the order comes out right, the wok heat is there, the price stays fair. Closed Mondays, later on Fridays and Saturdays. Reliable, unfussy takeout.
