The clubhouse restaurant at Banyan Creek Golf Club in Palm City trades as the Salty Rooster Restaurant & Pub, and it is where a round turns into a long afternoon. The kitchen works from scratch under head chef Pablo Tax, a self-taught Guatemalan cook who came up through Martin Downs Golf Club, the Sandpiper Room and Tesoro Country Club; his daily soups and burgers are the orders people repeat. There is a full bar, craft cocktails, a keto menu and a covered patio facing the club's banyan tree. Lunch runs daily, dinner Wednesday and Friday, breakfast on Sunday. Golf optional.
