Cedarhurst's Spruce Street burger house takes the word artisanal seriously and spends it mostly on beef. Burgers run from the plain Bolt to the Barbacoa, stacked with pastrami and crispy onions, and the Short Rib, which does exactly what its name promises; lamb, veggie and plant-based patties cover the flanks. Meat pizzas are the other signature, short rib, brisket, pastrami or beef bacon over barbecue sauce, finished with arugula and garlic aioli. Open with smoked-brisket beef tacos, lamb arayes with tahini, brisket fries, or the cauliflower blossom. Steaks arrive with chermoula and chimichurri. Closed on Fridays; Saturday service starts late.
