BAREFOOT BEACH HOUSE – Restaurant
Right on Clearwater Beach's South Gulfview Boulevard, this counter-serve beach house doubles as a gift shop and runs eight in the morning until nine at night, every day. Order espresso drinks and ice cream by the scoop or waffle cone, then sandwiches, wings and pizza to carry to the picnic tables and hammocks out front. Sunscreen, inflatables and sand toys sit alongside the souvenirs, which is the point: it is the beach's own pantry. Dogs are welcome outside. Visitors mention the speed of the coffee service and the flavour range of the ice cream. Barefoot is not just the name.
