A kosher French bistro and steakhouse on East 46th Street in Midtown East, certified by the Orthodox Union, with three dining rooms, a bar and an outdoor patio. Chef and owner Joshua Kessler cooks Parisian classics with a contemporary hand: salade lyonnaise with lamb bacon and soft poached egg, beef tartare under cured egg yolk, duck confit risotto, short rib gnocchi, bucatini aux champignons. Steaks are twenty eight day dry aged, from a sixteen ounce filet de boeuf to a thirty two ounce cote de boeuf. Aged barbecue beef ribs appear on the menu when available. Quiet, precise, grown up.
