BARONS CREEK VINEYARDS – Mediterranean
A Texas Hill Country winery's Florida outpost, parked on Southwest Broadway in Ocala's historic downtown, pouring wines made from vineyards in California, Texas, Washington and Spain. Tastings run twenty-five dollars and split two ways: a mixed flight of whites, rose and reds, or an all-reds flight for people who already know what they like. The kitchen keeps pace with twelve-inch pizzas fired in-house, caprese, meat lover's and the jalapeno-spiked Wild Country, plus a signature charcuterie board, bruschetta bites, red pepper hummus with warm naan, and hot chocolate chip cookies. Club Sunday adds free tastings. Reservations are recommended on busy weekends.
