BEACH OCALA – Restaurant
Out on West Highway 326, a short hack from the HITS show grounds, The Beach takes its name from the wide sandy stretch in front of the door. It is owned and run by people who compete at HITS themselves, and the room is built for them: exhibitors coming off a long day in the ring, and the locals who found it. Food runs breakfast through late night, with a full bar pouring specialty cocktails. Evenings turn over to karaoke, DJs, live music and Grand Prix coverage. Kids get their own menu, leashed dogs get treats at the indoor-outdoor bar.
