Inside Aventura Mall, Bianco Gelato runs the same small-batch programme it began in Coconut Grove in 2013: gelato churned the old Italian way from organic, non-GMO ingredients, kosher certified, free of hydrogenated fats and artificial flavour. The case turns through pistachio, hazelnut, chocolate, vanilla bean, strawberry, apple pie and wedding cake, with vegan tubs built on almond, coconut or cashew milk and sugar-free versions sweetened using stevia. Organic fruit popsicles, brownies, cookies, cupcakes, milkshakes and ice cream cakes fill out the counter. Open late most evenings, and earlier on Sundays. It is a shopping-centre counter that takes its ingredients seriously.
