Big Coppitt Coffee builds its day around the Cuban classics: cafecito, cortadito, colada and cafe con leche, poured strong and sweet from early morning. The case carries guava and cheese pastelitos, croquetas, and empanadas stuffed with seasoned beef, chicken or cheese. Breakfast runs to buttery tostada Cubana and eggs; midday brings pressed Cubanos, medianoches, pan con bistec and pan con lechon. Daily specials rotate through ropa vieja, picadillo and slow-roasted lechon with rice, beans and plantains. Catering is available. Small roadside stop, unmistakably Havana in accent.
