Big Daddy's Shawarma – Restaurant

Ventura and Laurel Canyon, and the smell of charcoal doing the advertising. Big Daddy's opened in 2024 with a kosher kitchen under Rabbinical Council supervision, roasting shawarma over coals and grilling skewers on open flame. Order beef, chicken, turkey or veggie shawarma in a pita, a bowl or a plate, or go down the skewer list: chicken thigh, kabab, ribeye, sweetbread, chicken hearts, baby lamb chops, merguez. Hummus plates arrive under your choice of shawarma or tender beef. Kibbeh, arais, sabich, Moroccan cigars and falafel fill the rest. Schnitzel in challah appears Fridays only. Malabi and baklava follow. Closed Saturdays.
