BIG TATO'S EXPRESS GRILL – Restaurant

Enormous sandwiches, cooked to order, are the point here. This Miami counter works the Venezuelan and Zulian repertoire: parrillas of lomo de aguja with chorizo, griddled cheese, fried arepitas and a choice of chimichurri, guasacaca or tartar sauce; choripanes topped with pico de gallo and grated cheese; a patacon mixto holding two proteins between plantain tapas. Burgers come doubled and stacked with queso de mano and smoked ham. Hot dogs get the full treatment. Tequenos and nuggets keep children happy; choripapas and pork chicharrones keep everyone else going. It is one of several Big Tato's kitchens trading under the name.
