Stone crab season sets the calendar here. Billy's sits on the Intracoastal in Hollywood with its own dockage — boats up to a hundred feet tie up and diners step straight off — and a retail seafood market working alongside the dining room. Claws are why most people come, cracked and served chilled. Around them: wild Florida Keys shrimp, Alaskan king crab, Florida lobster tails, Apalachicola oysters, Indian River clams, grilled or blackened fish, USDA steaks and pastas. Clam chowder opens; key lime pie closes. Owner Billy Hershey buys domestic only. Indoor and waterside tables, open noon until ten daily.
