BIRRIA 1983 – Restaurant
Consomme simmers all day on West Church Street, and the dining room and patio stay busy from late morning until midnight at weekends. Nearly everything here is built on slow-braised birria: tacos, quesadillas, and a birria ramen that makes the broth the whole point. Around that sit chimichangas, the burrito loco, steak and shrimp fajitas, a shrimp bowl, taco salad, tostones deluxe, street corn salad and a Mexican cobb. Craft cocktails run alongside the food rather than sitting behind it. Downtown Orlando gets a proper sit-down room that takes reservations, caters, and handles private parties, without losing its dipping-taco heart.
