BOBAYO TEA HOUSE – Restaurant
A Korean bubble tea house treating matcha as an ingredient, not a flavour shot. The lattes run taro, strawberry and mango, plus a dirty pour finished with espresso and a coconut version built on coconut water instead of milk. Milk teas cover brown sugar and strawberry; fruit teas lead with passion fruit; the mango coco sago arrives thick with sago pearls, grapefruit pulp and coconut jelly. There is proper food here as well, not an afterthought: tteokbokki, buldak ramen, beef dumplings, Korean corn cheese, cheese corn dogs and truffle edamame. Macarons, s'more cookies and mochi ice cream close it out.
