Despite the name, this is an Italian bistro, tucked onto Brickell Key island where the pace drops the moment you cross the bridge. Lunch runs on weekdays, dinner most nights, and a large outdoor patio makes the case for eating outside. The kitchen works country-style Italian: polpo al vino bianco and calamari fritti to open, carpaccio di manzo, then penne alla vodka, linguine gamberetto, risotto ai frutti di mare, chicken piccata, salmone alla mostarda and a churrasco steak with chimichurri. Bread pudding and tiramisu finish. Diners return for the octopus and the calm. A neighbourhood room that feels genuinely residential.
